Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall

Join us at a thrilling Jewish Unity Concert that will take place at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall on Wednesday, December 12th at 7:30 pm featuring Israel’s Ma’ale Adumim Youth Symphony as well as three choirs from the Ramaz Upper School in Manhattan. This special event is sponsored by The Bnai Zion Foundation.

Directed by Benjamin Shapira, the Ma’ale Youth Symphony will be performing selections from Leonard Bernstein’s Candide and West Side Story – in addition to works by Tschaikovsky and Rafi Kadishson — while the Ramaz Upper School Choir, Chamber Choir and Kol Ram Community Choir, led by Daniel Henkin, will present a program of classic and contemporary Jewish and Hebrew songs.

There are so many reasons to attend the Jewish Unity Concert on December 12th. A community-wide event bridging all denominations and walks of life, this evening celebrates Israel’s 70th Anniversary. Taking place just after Hanukkah, the Jewish Unity Concert is a way to extend the spirit of celebration and bask in the light of all that we share.

The Jewish Unity Concert at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall is being produced by The Bnai Zion Foundation which is dedicated to strengthening the significant, enduring ties between America and Israel.
