Shabbat Shalom, Welcome Home to R&R – FREE Family Fun on Shabbat, Saturday, February 1st – Tu B’shevat & The Environment @ Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan

Join the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan Saturday, February 8 from 2 to 5 p.m. for a free R&R Shabbat afternoon — an incredible alternative to the typical New York Saturday! All are welcome for guaranteed family fun with our community, including lots of entertainment and delicious, nutritious snacks. The program is open to the public and no registration is necessary. More details and a full weekly schedule are available at jccmanhattan.org. R&R programs run until March 28, except February 29 this season.

This week’s theme is the ”green” Jewish holiday Tu B’shevat. During this afternoon, we’ll explore the holiday and the environment through a variety of family-friendly activities.
Programs include: Craftivist Corner: Knitting Hats For The Homeless; MusicTalks Instrument Petting Zoo & MusicTalks The Giving Tree Performance; Schmooze On The News; Hudson Sound A Capella; Shabbat Chef’s Fruit Salad, Gentle Yoga; Tai Chi; Rooftop Playground (weather permitting); Art Project: Tu B’Shevat: The New Year of the Trees; LEGOs, trains, dollhouses, sensory play, and much, much more!
