Democracy Sunday: Democracy Sunday Goes to Court!

The current Supreme Court term includes several high-profile cases addressing issues from the viability of public-sector unions to the constitutional limits of gerrymandering to a shop owner’s refusal to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple.  With major decisions expected in the late spring, we are excited to host a timely conversation on the Supreme Court and the Federal judiciary with Dahlia Lithwick, senior editor at Slate and host of the Amicus podcast.  In addition, Democracy Sunday attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the role, process, and impact of the Federal court by weighing in on an actual contemporary court case.  As always, we will highlight opportunities to take effective action.
