Kompot: Still Friends on Long Island

Our Kompot series travels to the Russian-speaking Jewish families of Long Island this Summer! Join us for a live sand art performance followed by crafts and brunch.

Sasha and Masha are great friends — until a misunderstanding gets in the way. Aiy ya yai! How will they reconcile their differences?
A sand art performance (in Russian with a sprinkle of Yiddish) for the whole family by our very own incredible artist Lopatnik Zhenya on Long Island at Advanced Academic Programs of Roslyn with arts&crafts around themes of Yedidut (friendship) and BRUNCH! 11AM.

$30 Per Family. $35 exact change at the door.

Friendship is a precious commodity whose benefits are attained by hard work and compromise!

The sand-art performance is based on the PJLibrary book “Are we still friends” by Ruth Horowitz.

Tickets will be available soon.

***This event is made possible with the generous support of PJ Library of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation in partnership with Genesis Philanthropy Group.
